Abstract-The main objective of the project is to implement LTE physical layer of eNodeB. The team consists of 15 members. They were divided into 6 different groups. Each group worked on implementing an independent block at the transmitter and its correspondent block at the receiver. Each group tested their own block separately in order to analyze its feasibility and draw out BER curves vs. different values of SNR. Then, the different groups assembled their codes together in order to implement an integrated LTE physical layer. A trial version is tested on the C700 using MATLAB. Meanwhile, the teams were writing C code for their blocks because C700 needs embedded C codes on a DSP core in order to be market oriented.
